What are Loyalty Points?

We would like to thank you for your support and to give you something back, we launch this Loyalty Points program.

Loyalty Point awarded every time you make a purchase via TechGarage.my. It can be used to redeem products on TechGarage.my based on the redeem rates on TechGarage.my as here.

How do I gain Loyalty Points?

Loyalty Points are awarded for every purchase from TechGarage.my.
The current rate is 1 point for every RM 1 spent.

Shipping Fees, Taxes and Handling Charges do not count towards your Loyalty Points.

Please note, we reserve the right to make changes to the above rate at any time without prior notice. The rate shown here will always be current.

Redeeming for Loyalty Points?

Currently, for every RM1.00 spent at TechGarage.my,  you’ll earn 1 point
For example:
Product Cost:  RM100.00
Value of Points Earned:  100 points

Points Redemption
Redemptions Rates as as below

100 points = RM 0.50

What are the terms and conditions on Loyalty Points?

There are generally no restrictions on redeeming your purchases using Loyalty Points. The following terms and conditions do apply though:

  1. Loyalty Points are limited to only your account and cannot be combined with other users’ Loyalty Points
  2. Loyalty Points cannot be exchanged, traded nor sold with other users / people. Loyalty Points can only be used by you (the “User”) as the owner of the account.
  3. Loyalty Points cannot be exchanged for money, but only to redeem products or to reduce purchase prices.
  4. Loyalty Points are only as valid as long as TechGarage Enterprise / Techgarage.my exists as a entity. If Techgarage ceases to exist to bankruptcy, plagues, earthquakes and various uncontrollable phenomenas, User will not be able to redeem unclaimed Loyalty Points.


Can I collect at your store after purchasing?

Yes, but for certain items, we need to wait for it to be shipped to us. As such, you will be notified upon completion of the order, whereby you can come and collect from our office

Do you have a best price policy?

We try our best to match the prices in the market. If you can give us the price of another Malaysian store which is much more affordable than us, please let us know and we’ll do our best to match it. Unfortunately sometimes it’s not viable match prices due to

1) Parallel import sets
Parallel import sets are imported by dealers who bypass distributors. Though it offers you a cheaper price, warranty wise it might not give you the same coverage as those from the local distributors

2) On Sale items
On Sale items might be priced below cost price. Unfortunately, it’s not viable for us to do loss leaders for now

3) Fake products
Some products out there might not be original nor real. If it’s too good to be true, it might not be real


In place of trying to be the cheapest, we have a Loyalty Points program for you. For every purchase on TechGarage.my, you’ll be rewarded with Loyalty Points.  Also we have seasonal product bundles and cheaper prices for some products if you buy a few pieces together =)

What methods of payment does Techgarage.my accept?

We ensure your credit card information is 100% safe and secure. We currently accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Gift Cards, Bank Transfer and Cheques. We accept single or multiple methods of payment on your purchases.

We also accept M2U transfers.

We prefer not do not accept Cash nor Cash on Delivery.

How do I redeem coupons on your site?

You can add coupons to your cart at any time.

  1. Click on your cart in the top right hand corner.
  2. Enter your coupon code and click “Apply Coupon”
  3. Click “Back to My Order” to return to your cart.

Important restrictions

  1. Coupons are not transferable
  2. Void where prohibited
  3. No cash nor credit back
  4. Coupons must be submitted at the time of order
  5. Expired coupons are not valid
  6. Tax and delivery are not included in calculating minimum purchase requirement
  7. Limit one per customer
  8. Not all coupon are can be used in store, in catalog or on Techgarage.my. Please see coupon for details.
  9. Techgarage does not accept competitor, manufacturer or any other third party coupons.

Can I add or delete items from my order if I change my mind?

Most orders are transmitted almost immediately to our warehouse where it is processed very quickly and shipped out. For pre-orders, the items are usually processed as soon as our suppliers have stocks.

If you would like to change your order, please let us know as soon as possible, by calling +6016-2330885 and dropping us an email at hello@digitaldestiny.co. If your order has been transmitted to our warehouse or processed by our suppliers, it’ll be shipped as is.

Can I get a discount if I order large quantity of an item?

  • Buy in large quantities and you will save more. Simply email us at hello@digitaldestiny.co to see if you qualify for a volume discount.
  • If you’re doing a Government tender and need volumes of thousands of the similar range of products, please email us. We’re keen to ensure your needs are met.

Do you have a cheaper price for smaller orders?

We have a best price policy. We also have a Loyalty Points program, an Affiliate Partner program and occasional product bundles (where you can buy a set of related products for a cheaper price than individually) and offers where by you can buy a second item at a discounted rate, as to help your group purchases.

We unfortunately do not reply emails for us to quote the best price, or to be cheaper than everyone else in the market, if the following:

  • You cannot provide us with another Malaysian store with a lower price, as we believe we’re already giving you the best price upfront.
  • You want us to be the cheapest in the market. Unfortunately, while we believe in a best price policy, we do not believe in a price war.

Can I go to your shop and buy?

Thanks for asking. As for now, our business model is online retailing and we do not wish to complicate it by offering physical outlets. Our offices are also not open for walk-in or retail. Please make your order online and we will send out your order via PosLaju.

If you worry about safety, all products sent out are insured. And the recipient on your side would always have to sign in order to acknowledge receipt.


Why Pre-Order?

Pre-order is ordering before the products There are three reasons for pre-ordering.

It’s a new and/or hot product

  • Sometimes a new gadget sells so well that everyone wants to be the first to get their hands on the new gadget. Unfortunately the first batch of stocks can’t meet the overwhelming demand. We advice customer to reserve units and we will ship to you as soon as shipment arrives.
  • At other times a product sells so well, chances are every time stocks arrive, they are sold off within the same day. Truly, demand is overwhelming. We advice customer to reserve units and we will ship to you as soon as shipment arrives.

It’s a product with a wide range and/or with a short lifespan

  • Tech and Photography has an extremely wide range. Some products sell less than 10 units per year. It is therefore impossible even for distributor to stock up them. Some are manufactured by request. In such cases we will help you to order directly from principle factory  if there isn’t a local distributor on your case.
  • Some products come with a short lifespan. For example are smartphones and tablets, which might be replaced within a matter of months. As such, until we’ve established a pattern for the products, we might work more on pre-orders.

It’s a new product range on Techgarage dot my

  • For new product range on Techgarage, it’ll take some time before we determine products which sells faster, and those that might not sell, especially if they have a wide range and/or a short lifespan. As such, until we reach a certain volume, we might keep it to pre-orders.

How many products can I Pre-Order at one time?

You may pre-order as many products as you prefer. However, due to some complications with our shopping cart system and integration with banking systems, you may only have 1 pre-order item in your cart at check out.

After which, you may return and order a second pre-order item.

However, we’re working with our developers to improve this and will gradually roll out in the near future.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you have Free Shipping?

Yes, for purchases above RM 150 throughout the entire Peninsular Malaysia for camera accessories ! For non-camera accessories, we have a flat rate charge depending on where you are at. This saves you much, as we absorb the surplus cost to our side. Have fun shopping!


p/s: Sorry, there isn’t free shipping to East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak)

Why can’t you provide free shipping for smaller purchases / East Malaysia / Internationally?

Great question!

As much as we would want to implement free shipping as consumers ourselves, it would also mean that at lower priced items, we might lose money or we need to use a cheaper provider, who might not be able to provide insurance coverage, tracking codes and other aspects of quality service that you might expect. Or that we might need to add the costs to your product price, which would be unfair to those around Klang Valley / Peninsular Malaysia.

Shipping to East Malaysia / Internationally can get costly really quickly, and for heavier / larger products like Dry Cabinets, Bags and such, margins aren’t enough to cover shipping costs.

However, we’ve added in Loyalty Points and Custom Bundles (meaning you can purchase certain sets of products for a cheaper price) within TechGarage to assist you. Do continue to look out for our updates and products! =)

Where do you ship to?

As of now, we ship to almost every nation / country in the world. Kindly check with PosLaju on the countries they ship to =)

Why do your product weigh heavier than those on the manufacturer’s website?

Ah, thanks for asking! We’ve two ways of calculating weights. Please read on to find out more

1) For smaller items 
We usually use manufacturer’s defined weights, and if that is not available, a guesstimate. Please note that at times guesstimates are favored as there is the matter of packing, which adds to the dimension of the product

2) For larger items
For example, bags, dry cabinets and perhaps air conditioners one day, using the manufacturer’s default weight  couldn’t cover the shipping costs, as they’re calculated volumetrically. As such, due to the nature of our software, we need to enter in the volumetric weight manually as there isn’t an auto converter that converts the dimensions into volumetric weight . How come I get “no shipping class found”?

While we’re shipping to everywhere PosLaju goes, certain countries has a limit in terms of maximum weight allowed per shipment. If you’re hitting this issue, just drop us a tinkle at hello [at] digitaldestiny.co and we’ll get you a special quote for your purchase. =)
